We are so excited to share this colorful spring wedding at the Desert Botanical Garden with you! Kelsey & James met and fell in love in Flagstaff, AZ. Because James is in the Army, they spent a lot of time long distance, but their connection ran deep and they knew they wanted to be together!

Kelsey is an interior designer in Flagstaff. She and James travelled to London in the summer of 2018 where he popped the question! And Kelsey had no idea that he had been carrying around her ring for the whole trip.

Still today they often spend a couple months at a time apart, but when they are together, Kelsey says she really just loves spending time outdoors with James.

The Wedding Day at Desert Botanical Garden

As you’ll see, Kelsey & James’ wedding day was FULL of color and florals, which we love! Kelsey certainly was not afraid to make bold color choices for their Desert Botanical Garden wedding and it definitely worked in their favor.

There were a lot of special and unique elements to this day, like bridesmaid tambourines and a dance flash mob at the reception!

As you can probably tell, a lot of fun was had on this gorgeous spring wedding day, and we definitely weren’t mad about that!

10/10 highly recommend not only a first look with your fiance, but with a parent too! Since Kelsey chose to do a first look with her Dad, she got to have these incredibly special images!

This ceremony backdrop was such a lovely and creative idea that complemented the Desert Botanical Garden so well!
