It was just any other May morning when Carson and Lexi took their dog hiking, little did she know it would be the best day she never saw coming but had dreamed of since she fell in love while the two attended the University of Arizona. Wearing her exercise clothes and sunglasses, she had no idea what he was up to when he bent down on one knee and handed her something…the cutest little red heart dog tag that had the ultimate question for her, “Mommy, will you marry my daddy?” Her hand immediately covered her mouth in sheer shock and excitement! Of course she would! A week later, these two graduated from the U of A and headed north to Scottsdale, Arizona to begin their adventure in their new fields and as fiancees!

When Lexi and I met to discuss their wedding, she couldn’t stop smiling, even with the 100 degree heat, creeping upon us as we sat outside chatting. It was crystal clear that she was head over heels with Carson and I couldn’t wait to meet the man who made her smile ear to ear. I would be remiss if I didn’t admit that my jaw dropped when I saw this stunning couple as the walked toward me, dressed to the nines for their engagement session. The photographer in me was squealing with delight! These two are beautiful inside and out and love each other so much that they made my job so easy. He makes her laugh like no other and she has him bewitched, body and soul.

I can’t wait to capture their wedding at the Omni Montelucia in May! With Alex and Trista of BTS Event Management planning every aspect of their day, it’s going to be one to remember!
