Tara and Nick grew up in the same hometown and worked at the same restaurant, but didn’t meet each other until the last week before college started. When they talked for the first time, the couple realized that they would be living in the same apartment complex for school. Nick offered to help Tara move-in, and the rest is history! Five years later, Nick and Tara made plans and hiked to the top of Squaw Peak. Once at the top, Nick said that he had something for her. Tara was caught completely off-guard when she turned around and saw him pulling out a ring box. After Nick proposed, Tara immediately said yes! Both were very excited and began planning their wedding on the hike down.

We had so much fun exploring the Rio Salado Habitat together. The backdrop of wooden fences, foliage and lots of greenery just highlighted the love that these two share. The way Tara smiles while in Nick’s arms is so sweet and natural, these two clearly belong together! And the light! The Arizona light highlighted it all that day, shining through shaded aspen trees, framing these two love birds perfectly. I can’t wait for their April wedding at The Secret Garden!
