I was so excited to capture Journey and Kris’ engagement session at Papago Park. The sun was perfect that day, reflecting off the water and through the reeds in the pond. It was without a doubt the best backdrop to photograph a couple so in love! Journey was giddy, skipping along from place to place, making Kris laugh. And he can make her giggle! Her face just lights up when she’s in his presence, I loved it! I felt like a spectator to their relationship, getting to see how tender and lighthearted they are with each other. As the sun fell, we found a perfect little spot in the desert for them to snuggle with the purple sunset bouncing off the mountain behind them. As we walked along, we realized even the moon was showing off for these two during their session, making for a romantic ending to a delightful session! I can’t wait to capture their wedding in a few short months at Tre Bella! I know it’s going to be another absolutely beautiful day full of fun and emotion as these two celebrate their love with friends and family!
