I could go on and on about Natalie’s Lillian Lottie Couture dress, her timeless Grace Kelly-esque beauty and sweet personality, or Andrew’s debonaire good looks, and how his comedic personality only add to his charm; which are all true. They’re the ‘if we weren’t friends I’d secretly hate you because you’re a stinkin gorgeous couple’ kind of people. But you can’t hate them, because they’re two of the best people I’ve been privileged to meet. I was already friends with their family, and becoming friends with them too only underlines the amazingness of their kin. Natalie and Andrew’s wedding was so incredibly fun and alluring to photograph, I can’t say enough about the beauty of it all!

However, I would be remiss if I didn’t talk about their love. Their ‘make your heart go pitter patter’ love, that stops you in your tracks. The kind of love that reminds me of how completely and passionately I am loved, and made me immediately long for my husband’s embrace. I was blessed that they trusted me to capture their commitment to one another in front of those they love the most. And let me tell you, after all the laughing and hamming it up during their engagement session, I was not prepared for what happened on their wedding day. Unprepared for the vows so raw, entrenching and heartfelt that I wept like a baby behind my camera. (It was so hard to hide the loud, ugly cry that was trying to come out of me!)

Andrew not only made promises to Natalie, but he described how he would make good on them using traits he learned from the love and lessons from his mother, brother, sister and cousin; turning and thanking them for helping make him the man he is today. And as if that wasn’t touching enough, they were led through these promises, commitments, vows to one another by Natalie’s father. A man who has loved his little girl from before she took her first breath. And there he was, officiating their wedding. Not only handing his daughter, his baby girl over to enter the next chapter of her life as a wife, but standing in front of them, leading the two through the most important and sacred promises they will ever make to another. It was a day to remember! Those of us who were lucky enough to witness and celebrate their love know there isn’t another way to describe it other than simply perfect in every way.
